Exam Stress

Getting ready to take an exam?

Do you find the closer it’s getting, the more nervous and anxious you are feeling?

When we get stressed it literally makes it harder to retrieve information from your mind. So, although you know your subject, you just can’t get to the information. That is because you don’t need to think and know that subject in order to stand up and fight or run away, the flight or fight response.

How would it feel to walk into that exam feeling calm & relaxed, able to retrieve what you have learnt and feel good knowing that you have done your best?

One young client was able to achieve the grades needed with confidence and happily move on to further education.

I teach coping strategies to help you with this. So, you can walk in to the exam room feeling calm, relaxed and confident, feeling positive about yourself. Knowing how to dump that negative mind-set, to prepare mentally for the day are not just skills for that exam, but tools to be used throughout life.
